The following information is presented for the benefit of all teams, players and managers planning on forming teams for the 2008 season.

2008 Team Reclassifications

Represenatives from the So Cal Classification Board have worked to re-classify teams for the 2008 season.

Player Rating List
  These lists will be used as a reference for guiding team classifications for new teams and existing teams for the 2008 season.  If you are a team manager or an interested party, it is important that you read this information.

Player Rating List Appeal Procedures

It is understood that certain players' ability levels may not be commensurate with the classification under which they will be originally listed.  For example, role players or coaches/sponsors who may get their names put into a certain classification based solely upon their affiliation to a team that was successful.

There is no intention to keep such individuals unfairly classified or to restrict their opportunities to play.

Therefore, an appeal process has been established that will allow an individual player to get his individual classification downgraded.

General Policy

The associations always retain the right to classify teams based on
"the overall strength of the team both offensively and defensively"
regardless of where the individual players on a team might appear on the player lists.

To avoid problems, it is always best that teams submit their rosters for approval to the associaitions prior to participating in the 2008 season.
